The Antique Georgian Glass Panel Mourning Ring
Couldn't load pickup availability
This remarkable mourning ring features an oval-shaped colourless top with a piece of braided hairwork inlaid behind it. The shank has a band of black enamel running throughout.
There is an inscription inside the band which reads 'Eliz'h Salmon, ob, 7 Jan 1800 at 81'.
This ring, circa 1800, tests as 15ct. It has some wear to the enamel band and abrasion to the colourless panel. It is, however, in good condition.
