This ornate fede ring features a beautiful agate hard stone with a white carved cameo depicting a pair of hands intertwined. This delightful orangey-brown stone is set within a wide, ornate, hand-engraved band.
This ring, circa 1860, is XRF tested as 15ct yellow gold and is in good overall condition with light marks commensurate with age. As is usual with much older, often-worn rings this ring shows signs of a shank replacement under high contrast photography. The work looks well done and with no signs of stress or wear.
