This fabulous mourning ring features a navette-shaped head with a cross motif cradling six lustrous split pearls. Black enamel surrounds the cross design, paired with fine gold detailing which houses two more seed pearls. There is ornate foliate metalwork to the shoulders and a beaded design to both the band's top and bottom. The band is of a plain design.
This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Chester for 15ct gold in 1914. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
