The Vintage Turquoise Glass Stone Serpent Ring
Sold November 2024
This charming antique ring features two striking and intricately carved serpent heads which coil around the wearer's finger, with the two heads facing opposite directions. Two striking turquoise-coloured glass stones are mounted inside the ornate snake's heads, which contrasts beautifully against the warm gold tone of the ring.
The snake is a powerful symbol in jewellery, representing eternity, rebirth, and transformation. The coiled shape of the snake also symbolizes the cyclical nature of life and its ability to shed its skin and emerge renewed.
This ring tests as 18ct gold and it is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
