The Vintage Illusion Set Three Diamond Ring

This ring's three diamonds are illusion set in a gallery that rises from light metalwork shoulders and joins to a band that tests as 18ct.

The shoulders and the shank show differing tones under high contrast macro photography, this is also eye visible, but less so. This is most likely the result of a full shank replacement, when the ring which may have been a family heirloom needed a worn shank to be replaced to make the ring wearable again.

Ring head circa early 20th Century, with a later shank, this ring is in good wearable condition. There are just usual light marks commensurate with age and the diamonds appear well held.
