The Vintage Colour Shifting Gemstone Ring

This outstanding ring features a beautiful gemstone, possibly Alexandrite, which changes colour in the light. It varies from a blue to a purple hue when it is in direct sunlight and incandescent light. The stone is claw set between trifurcated shoulders, leading to a plain band.

This ring, circa the late 20th century, tests as 9ct gold and is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
