A high claw set sapphire of approximately 0.3ct in weight, is raised at the centre of this ring's square gallery of twelve brilliant cut diamonds. The ring head joins in a trifurcated style to a classic band which tests as 18ct.
The ring appears to have a worn hallmark and maker's mark to the inside of the band. From the style and diamond cut this ring is most likely mid 20th Century, but it's bold shape is clearly in homage to the Art Deco style from the 1920's.
