The Vintage 22ct Gold and Ruby Ring

This ring, from around the middle of the 20th Century, features a large synthetic ruby of around 3.2 carat held by four claws to patterned shoulders and a band which tests as 22ct.

The ring's style was one much more commonly seen in the early Victorian period and Georgian periods, but as Victorian synthetic 'Geneva' rubies were quite rare and the faceting on the stone is quite exact, this is likely a vintage ring made in an antique fashion.

A wonderful ring with an interesting appearance and a warm pink stone, this ring has signs of wear consistent with age on a 22ct ring, but is in good overall condition and is fully wearable.
