The Vintage 1992 Snake Motif Diamond Ring

Rings featuring snakes have long been a tradition, dating back to the Vikings and before, and more recently made popular in the Victorian era. The snake motif comes in many forms, and in this vintage ring the snake heads are presented as flat twist either side of this diamond.

This ring's brilliant cut diamond of approximately 0.25ct is held in a claw setting above this snake head motif gallery which joins to a band fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham in 1992 for 18ct gold. 

A well kept ring, in very good condition.
