The Vintage 1982 Tiger's Eye Signet Ring

This alluring vintage signet ring is set with a tiger's eye gemstone which has a beautiful chatoyancy, a golden brown optical reflectance that shimmers wonderfully in the light.

Chatoyancy, also known as the 'cat's eye' effect, is characterized by one or more bands of reflected light, which appear to glide over the gemstone's surface.

Bold shoulders give the ring that classic signet feel, which slopes into a slimmer band towards the back of the ring.

This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 9ct gold in 1982. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
