This vintage 1970’s ring holds a large deep purple amethyst in an oval shaped setting. It has a plain simple thin band which joins to a thick head.
There is some abrasion to the table of the gemstone, but the stone remains well held. The ring has just usual light marks commensurate with age.
The ring has been fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 9ct in 1970.
