This vintage ring features a large synthetic sapphire of approximately 1ct in weight, set in claws and surrounded by a gallery of ten eight-cut diamonds. This ring head, with its subtle rise to allow light under the gallery, joins to a slim gold band fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of London for 18ct gold in 1966.
At over 50 years old this ring is in good overall condition and appears well cared for. The base of the shank shows some usual thinning commensurate with age and the sapphire has some usual light abrasions. The sapphire and diamonds are well held.
