The Viking Era Wearable Bronze Twisted Ring

This ring, circa 700-900AD over a millennium of history in it. This ring style was common in Viking times. The twists of the band kept the ring strong through a life that was difficult in a world which was harsh.
Coated in a thin lacquer this ring is wearable, and fits a finger size N. Being so old it is not a perfect circle, but is not uncomfortable on the finger at all.
A nice example of affordable ancient wearable jewellery.

Authenticity: This ring is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity from an established ancient artefact gallery in central London. The gallery is the official partner and representative of Ralf Kotalla German authenticity Laboratory in the UK and the document is signed by their lead expert with a PhD in Archaeology.
Provenance: Formerly in a private collection formed before the 1990s on the UK and European Art Market.
