The Victorian Scroll Topped Diamond Ring

This ring, with a high scrolled gallery, holds five old cut diamonds is a slightly rosy band marked 18ct.

Old cut diamonds catch the light in a more notable fashion as their faceting was a manual process meaning the edges are all very slightly different. It gives jewellery more personality than modern laser cut brilliant diamonds.

This ring, circa 1860 by style and stones, is in good condition. There is some thinning to the base of the band from over a century and a half of wear, but it is still structurally sound.
