The Ancient Medieval Bronze Symbolic Seal Ring
Sold December 2021
The Middle Ages were an interesting historical period, with great battles and exchanges of power and land between royalty and nobles. From the Plantagenet dynasty to the Tudors in the period known as the Late Middle Ages is most likely where we'd find this ring, which experts date circa 1300-1600.
The bronze ring features a seal, still clearly visible after hundreds of years with a symbol. Perhaps a house's symbol or perhaps religious. This ring is in very good condition with a strong shank and could be worn.
