The Ancient Medieval Silver Quatrefoil Garnet Ring

This silver ring, with its four-sided head, holds a deep purple garnet. Each side of the quatrefoil depicts a cross and the bezel is met with shaped shoulders joining to a plain band.

Circa 1350-1500 AD this fully wearable medieval ring is in good overall condition, with some usual wear to the cross marks and patterning commensurate with age.

Provenance: Acquired from a Dutch antiques dealer specialising in Roman, Byzantine, Viking, and Medieval antiquities.
