The Late Victorian Stylish Gallery Diamond Ring
Sold February 2021
This ring's focus is not solely on its diamond but instead makes the diamond a feature of a highly stylised gallery in white metal composed of rounded edges and diagonal swoops.
Its style could be mistaken for Art Deco if it were not for the hallmark suggesting it is late Victorian. The ring bears the RB marker's mark for Robert Bragge seen around 1878 alongside assay office hallmarks for Birmingham and 9 Carat Gold. The estimated diamond weight is 0.05ct
At approximately 140 years old this ring has some wear to the base of the band from being next to another ring and some wear to one shoulder, but is fully wearable without any concern for its integrity.
