The Late Victorian Spencer of Charlotte 1892 Four Diamond Memory Ring
Sold February 2022
This ring, a wonderful piece of Victorian history, features four old swiss cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.54ct held in an engraved band. The band reads "IN MEMORY OF" around the edge. To the inside of the band is the head symbol for late Victorian Birmingham or London hallmarking and the number '18', and engraved to the inside of the band is the phrase "Spencer of Charlotte, June 1892".
This ring, with well cut diamonds, has wear commensurate with age to the base of the band with some smoothing of the text.
A very lovely antique piece, with a near palpable history.
Please be aware that due to the details and engraving on this ring that is is excluded from our Free Resizing service.
