The Late Victorian Ornate Autumnal Citrine Ring

This ring features a stunning mix of gold, brown and yellow colours creating a wonderful autumnal ring. The brown and yellow citrine stone is held firm in a pinch setting to a black backing, which in turn is pinch set in a closed-back collet. This is held between ornate floral patterned shoulders joining to a grooved band.

Circa 1880, this ring tests as 10ct yellow gold and is in good overall condition with only light wear consistent with age. The collet setting is not as tight as the pinch setting on the stone and the piece inside moves slightly inside the setting when pushed.
