The Post Medieval Wearable Gilded Memento Mori Ring

Featuring a chased skull and the words 'Memento Mori' which literally translates as 'Remember Death' or is more commonly known as the phrase 'Remember You Will Die'.

Circa 1700 AD, with silver beneath the gilding, this unique and interesting handmade piece is fully wearable.

Authenticity: This ring is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity from an established ancient artefact gallery in central London. The gallery is the official partner and representative of Ralf Kotalla German authenticity Laboratory in the UK and the document is signed by their lead expert with a PhD in Archaeology.

Provenance: Formerly in a north London gallery, before that acquired in the UK/EU Art market in the 1980s.
