The Georgian Twenty One Diamond Antique Cluster Ring
Sold December 2020
This stunning Georgian Diamond Cluster Ring is set with twenty-one natural Diamonds in silver with an ornately carved ring mount.
The ring is an original Georgian design and is set with a flat cut central Diamond, weighing roughly 0.35ct to 0.4ct. The principal diamond is surrounded by two rows of eight and twelve flat cut diamonds. These are an average of 0.10ct measuring between 2.5mm and 3.5mm each.
All the diamonds are old flat cut, showing the ring's age and unique handmade craftsmanship through asymmetrical shapes.
While diamonds mounted like this cannot be colour graded, they have a good light colour and do not appear to be drawing yellow. The clarity grades vary between approximately SI and SII.
The face measures approximately 18.8mm in diameter. The diamond measurements provided are more approximate than we provide on more modern jewellery as the cuts of every diamond in this ring differ.
At around 200 years old this ring is in good wearable condition.
