The Antique Garnet Memorial Ring

This remarkable memorial ring features a stunning oval-shaped head which houses a deep red garnet, serving as the centrepiece of the design. Encircling the garnet is a border of black enamel, which adds a touch of mystique and enhances the stone's intense hue.

Within the black enamel, a series of fleur de lis motifs are expertly crafted, each symbolizing beauty, purity, and the eternal cycle of life. The shoulders also feature finely etched lined patterns, which lead into a plain band towards the back of the ring.

This ring, circa 1820, tests as 9ct. It has previously lost its original centrepiece and has been re-set with a garnet gemstone. This ring is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
