The Edwardian Old Cut Trio Sumner Diamond Ring

A very bright and clear trio of antique old cut diamonds with an estimated total diamond weight of around 1.04ct are held in an 18ct gold band.
This wonderful antique ring is Edwardian by style of setting and stone as concurred by SafeGuard's independent assessment report circa 1900-1910. This ring was acquired alongside other similar items from the Regency and Victorian Era.
The diamonds are all old cut diamonds and well matched and of good colour and clarity. The central stone has no obvious inclusions under magnification. Inclusions to the side stones are not visible to the naked eye. Claw setting and shank in good condition commensurate with age. Safeguard Grading visible in report.
This ring has provenance, having come from the estate of the late Jane Sumner, a well respected antiques dealer with a career which spanned five decades. Over her years of trading, she operated shops in Saffron Walden and Thaxted, Essex, London (Fulham Road) and Hungerford, Berkshire as well as having run the prestigious events The Kenilworth Antiques Fair and London Antiques Dealers Fair (Café Royal, Piccadilly, London) for many years.
