This ring, fully hallmarked for 18 carat gold in 1848 by the Assay Office of London, features an agate black panel with a natural white stripe.
The ring's shoulders are foliate detailed to half way down the band, with black enamel accents.
A unique piece of antique jewellery at over 170 years old it is in good wearable condition. The agate panel and its backing has signs of age as seen in photographs but is well held. The hallmarking is still very clear and the band is sturdy.
