The Early 19th Century C.M Initials Silver Ring

This silver ring has a shaped head featuring the initials ‘CM’ in handwritten lettering with an ornate border.

There is some lined detailing on the shoulders, the band is plain around the back of the ring. This ring, circa 18th - 19th century, shows signs of wear, including in the shape of the band, however, it is in fully wearable condition.

Provenance: Acquired as part of a group lot from an established ancient antiques gallery in north London. A photocopy of the certificate from the gallery will be included with your purchase. Formerly, in a private UK collection; from an old Oxford collection formed in the 1980s.
