This oval-cut pink ruby is a stunning natural shade bringing out tones of magenta in the principal stone. The gallery is raised, allowing for plenty of light to shine through, in the centre of an intricately woven Celtic knot. The knot is beautifully highlighted on either side by an eight-cut diamond.

Celtic knots are often used to symbolise love and connectedness, frequently being represented in engagement rings and family heirlooms. 

The ring's hallmark is lightly worn but appears to be for 9 carat gold from the Sheffield Assay Office. The wear to the inside of the band is consistent with a vintage ring of around 40-50 years old
