This ring's principal diamond, of approximately 0.33ct, sits in a round bezel setting that is lifted by lattice metalwork to allow the Old European Cut diamond to receive a lot of light and shine. The shoulders are in a long rectangular pattern, dotted with two diamonds each, a style common in art deco jewellery.

From around the early of the 20th Century this ring is in good wearable condition. The band towards the shoulders shows small wear to both sides consistent with age and being worn next to another ring. The band tests as 18ct. The total approximate carat weight including the shoulders is 0.37ct.
