The Antique Wine-Red Garnet Ring

Five lavish garnets sit in baroque style settings, with a gradient of sizes from small on the sides to the largest as the principal gemstone. The impressive ring features heavy detailing work which leads to the shoulders and all around the ring’s band. Swirl elements frame the top and bottom of the ring’s head, leaving no plain surface.

There is a small but eye visible inclusion in the central stone, and the ring is in overall good condition, with light wear commensurate with age for a ring over a century old. Fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham in 1912 for 9ct gold.
