This antique Victorian ring from 1888 features three dazzling starburst details, the centre holds a sapphire, framed by two old cut diamonds. It has been fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 18ct gold in 1888.

The Victorians were fascinated by the magical night sky and intrigued by star constellations. They believed stars were a symbol of guidance and wisdom.

This ring would be suitable as a daily ring for someone who has an active life, as the stones are well secured by a deep setting inside the band and therefore less likely to be caught on clothing.
