This outstanding Victorian mourning ring features a triple scroll motif to the head, filled with nine dreamy split pearls which leads into a plaited hairwork band with foliate engraved sections. The inscription inside the band reads 'In Loving Memory Dear Mother Obt 28th Jan 1873 Aet 70'.
This ring, circa 1873, tests as 18ct and is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
