The Antique Victorian Eight Cut Diamond Ornate Cluster Ring
Sold February 2025
This ring features a cluster of 7 eight-cut diamonds, which are carefully set in a delicate scalloped openwork setting, creating a floral-inspired motif that is both regal and elegant. Fancy-scrolled dealing occupies both shoulders and leads your attention up to the ornate head. This ring contains 0.14ct of diamonds.
This ring, circa 1890, is hallmarked by the Assay Office of Chester for 18ct gold. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age. There is a second hallmarking stamp close to the back of the head that appears to be in a Victorian-era stamp shape but time has worn it illegible.
