The Antique Victorian Butterfly Pietra Dura Ring

This one-of-a-kind quirky ring features a large rectangular head with a design depicting a butterfly; its body and wings feature semi-precious gemstones such as malachite and jasper. The black backdrop makes the gemstones pop and appear vibrant. 

The shoulders feature fancy scrolled detailing, which leads into a double shank towards the back of the ring.

This ring, dated by independent expert assessment as 1870 to 1900, tests as 18ct and is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
