The Antique Victorian 1892 Pearl and Ruby Ring
Sold for
£579.00
Sold June 2024
This ring featured a pearl in a four point setting on a square gallery, flanked by two pairs of rubies joining with a gold band.
The inside of the band is fully hallmarked from the Assay Office of Birmingham for 15ct gold in 1892, in the last decade of the reign of Queen Victoria.
This ring, at around 130 years old is in good wearable condition. There is general wear commensurate with age, usual thinning to the base of the band but nothing of concern, and some light scratching visible under high contrast photography. The pearl and rubies are all well held.
