The Antique Victorian 1890 Gold and Diamond Buckle Ring

This antique ring is beautifully inscribed 'Frank Taylor from Mother 1899'. The inside of the band is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham in 1890 for 18ct gold. The band holds two diamonds (2.5mm each) for a total of 0.12ct of diamond.

The band has some signs of wear commensurate with age, with smoothing to some of the details and two light scratches. It is in overall good wearable condition, and the scratches are less noticeable in natural light than they are under high contrast photography.
