This ring features five garnets and eight spherical stones set in a classic Late Victorian detailed gallery. The shoulders and even the band of the ring have patterning and designs, and the inside of the shank is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham in 1890 for 9ct gold.
At over 130 years old this ring is in good overall condition with light wear consistent with age. This garnets have usual wear and the band's pattern work is worn on the underside. This ring would size down to a smaller size but not up.
