The Antique Victorian 1880 Five Pearl Ring

Sold for £1,165.00

This antique ring features five dreamy pearls set in a row across the top of the wide band. Each pearl is perfectly round and lustrous, with a soft, creamy white hue that is understated and elegant.

Pearls were highly prized during the Victorian era. They were considered a symbol of purity, innocence, and wealth and were often worn by people of high social status as a sign of their refined taste and sophistication.

This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of London for 18ct gold in 1880. There is some nacre wear to the pearls, and there are some mild stress signs on the base of the shank, but all of the gemstones are well held, and the ring is in fully wearable condition.
