The Antique Heart Gallery Old Cut Diamond Solitaire Ring
Sold November 2021
This ring's gallery begins with six delicate hearts, holding between each pair a claw that secures the old cushion cut diamond of approximately 0.87ct.
The band, marked platinum, has some small signs of wear commensurate with age, but these are only really visible under our high contrast macro photography. The diamond has a nibble to one side from a girdle into its crown which can be seen in the photographs but is much harder to notice with the naked eye.
Circa 1900 this ring has over a century of history and its heart gallery details make for a unique piece of jewellery.
