The Antique Georgian Twenty Old Mine Cut Diamond Half Hoop Ring
Sold August 2024
This spectacular regency era ring is a breathtaking piece of history. Two rows of ten stunning old mine cut diamonds are fashioned in an intricate crimped setting, allowing for the diamonds to catch the light from every angle and create a stunning sparkle. The diamond total is 1.71ct.
This half-hoop ring is a rare find for its age. The ornate foliate shoulder work and intricate diamond settings make for a one-of-a-kind antique piece.
This ring, circa 1820, tests as 9ct (and silver for its settings). There are signs of a previous resizing to the shank, but this ring is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
