This incredible Georgian mourning ring features a step-cut colourless crystal panel with a depiction of a skull at its centre. The crystal is a rub-over set with a scalloped design to the back of the head of the ring. This leads to an intricate enamel patterned band with gold inlay that reads 'M.WAGER OB. 14 SEP : 1750 AET 45'.
This ring, circa 1750, is stamped for 18ct. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
