The Antique Georgian Emerald and Rose Cut Diamond Verdant Ring
Sold April 2025
This remarkable ring features three round mixed-cut emeralds which exude a lush dark blueish-green hue. The stones have fine inclusions inside and catch the light wonderfully, allowing for an ethereal appearance.
Four rose-cut diamonds accompany the emeralds, two of them being a slightly darker shade. There is 1.00ct of emeralds and 0.06ct of diamonds in total.
The gemstones are set in a grid-like formation, set within silver-walled collet settings which joins to a rosy-coloured band.
This ring, circa mid-18th century, tests as 9ct and silver. There is mild abrasion to the table of the centre emerald, however, all stones are well-held and this ring is in good condition.
