The Antique French 19th Century Topaz and Garnet Ring
Sold October 2025
This ring features a rub over set cushion-shaped pinked topaz between two oval-cut pyrope garnets. The three-stone gallery is joined to foliate shoulders and an ornately carved band. This ring's decoration continues beyond what others would see, with ornate pattern work engraved to the underside of the ring's head for the owner alone to enjoy.
Circa 1850, with a French Import mark this ring tests as 14ct and has been very well cared for over the centuries and is in good condition.
This ring's band is wide and short, and measures close to N at its closest point, and as Q on its widest. It fits comfortably like a P.
