The Antique Victorian Emerald, Pearl and Ruby Ring

This ring features a stunning central emerald stone, framed by two oval split natural pearls and two rubies. The shoulders have foliate engraving which leads into an ornately decorated band which continues around the entirety of the band.
Emerald is the green to bluish-green variety of beryl, a mineral species that also includes aquamarine as well as beryls in other colours.
This ring, circa 1870, tests as 18ct. It is in good condition, with light marks commensurate with age.
