The Antique Victorian Emerald and Old Cut Diamond Ring
Sold July 2024
This sweet antique ring features a characterful step-cut emerald of a blueish-green hue, flanked by two outstanding old European cut diamonds. The emerald is approximately 0.50ct and the diamonds total approximately 0.25ct.
The gemstones are all collet set and the shoulders lead into a plain band.
This ring, circa 1870 - 1900, is stamped for 18ct. There is some abrasion to the emerald and one diamond has a small chip extending from the girdle to the table. However, all gemstones are well-held and the ring is in fully wearable condition.
