The Antique Diamond and Ruby Encrusted Snake Ring

Sold for £935.00

This elaborate snake's body is totally encrusted with eight-cut diamonds, which surround the entirety of the ring. A teardrop-shaped old-cut diamond is in the centre of the snake's head, weighing approximately 0.38ct. Two red rubies make up the snake's eyes, set within a yellow-gold bezel setting. The inside of the ring's band has intricate yellow-gold openwork, which spans the entirety of the band.

This ring, circa early to mid-20th century, has some discolouration to the setting and slight abrasion to the main diamond; however, all stones are well-held, and the ring is in good wearable condition.

Made of 14ct gold and sterling silver, this ring contains a total of approximately 2ct of diamonds.

Please note that due to this ring's diamond-encrusted band means it cannot be resized and is excluded from our Complimentary Resizing service.
