The Antique Georgian Dark Green Paste Ring

This antique half-hoop ring is adorned with six mesmerizing dark green foil-backed paste gemstones, which gleam as a beautiful green-gold colour when they hit the light. The half-hoop style offers a classic and elegant silhouette, hugging the finger with a delicate curvature that is both comfortable to wear and visually appealing. The shoulders feature intricate foliate engravings.

This ring, circa 1820, tests as 9ct. There are signs of a historic resizing to the shank. There is some abrasion and chips to the gemstones. However, they are well-held, and the ring is in good wearable condition.
