Sold January 2022
This ring's claw set cornflower blue sapphires sit well positioned around a mine cut and a single cut diamond. A light playful colour range of the yellow of the gold with the sparkle of diamonds and the blue of the sapphire make for an interesting piece of antique jewellery.
Fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham in 1918 for 18ct gold, this 2.8g ring is in good overall condition for its age, with light marks commensurate with age and some receding of the vertical claws.
