The Antique 1912 Amethyst, Paste and Diamond Ring

This ring features a wide head containing an amethyst and two pastes, surrounded by diamonds in deep settings. On both top and bottom of the band there is an open setting design to allow light to shine through the stones.

This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Chester for 18ct gold in 1912. The stones have light abrasion to their tables and there is a deficient diamond, but the remaining stones are still held well, and the ring is in fully wearable condition with usual marks commensurate with age.
