The Antique 1911 Garnet, Sapphire and Paste Ring

This ring features an oval blue garnet flanked by two white paste stones. On either side of the white pastes, a dark blue sapphire and a blue garnet are held by claw settings. This ring has an openwork design and grooved shoulders.

This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 18ct gold in 1911; it has a visible history. The ring has a replacement stone and an obvious resize to its base. Its white stones are well-held, and the blue garnets and sapphire are held in worn but stable settings. This ring is in wearable condition, with marks and wear commensurate with age.
