The Antique 1909 Edwardian Five Garnet Floral Banded Ring

This alluring Edwardian ring features five deep purple garnets in raised bezel settings. Around the entirety of the ring’s band, is an intricate floral engraving gives the ring an ornate and lavish feel.

The Edwardian era was known for its elegance and luxury, jewellery being an important part in the lifestyle of the wealthy upper class and upcoming middle classes. We can assume that this ring would have been worn by someone who treasured it, as it has been well cared for with only light wear commensurate with age.

This ring’s hallmark is partially worn but appears to be from the Assay Office of Birmingham for 22ct gold in 1909.
