This keeper ring consists of a wide band featuring a knotted chain design with lined detailing on the shoulders.
Keeper rings were traditionally worn to keep other rings, such as wedding bands or engagement rings, in place and prevent them from slipping off the finger.
This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 18ct gold in 1899. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
